Piwik is an open source ( GPL licensed ) , downloadable web analytics software program. It provides you with detailed reports on your website visitors ( almost like google ) : Search engines , keywords , languages , popular pages , countries and more .

Piwik was known as phpMyVisites . Now it is developed by OpenX , the company which developed the open source OpenX ad server .

Piwik gives you a simple JavaScript tag to copy and paste it in your website you wish to track , or you can use an existing plugin to do it automatically for you .
